Not really sure where to begin. Just picking up the sport and am looking for a club/facilities where I can meet other adults, beginner or advanced, who play the game.

I reside downtown but wouldn't mind driving for the right environs.

Would appreciate hearing from local players, in my level and/or age range who might be able to direct me to some good clubs and/or instruction.

    Thank you.

    Welcome to BC!

George brown college is a good place to frequent, but the skill level is quite high and if you don't mind that then give it a go. I recommend getting some friends to go with you to YMCA's/community centers so you can enjoy the game more.

To Mods: perhaps this thread should be copied/moved into the Canada East in the Places to Play forum to help Cheyenne find more replies.

I'm in Toronto too but I'm uptown so I can't help you with locations in your area. I'm sure there are various places to get into the game.

...no one else is interested in badminton, at least not in my age range or level. So I'll be going this alone, as a newbie. But I am thrilled. :)
