Sorry that this is region-specific but... Does anyone in BC have any info on the Level I Coaching certificate? I am thinking of going for it but the BC Badminton web site doesn't have too much information and I heard that there will be a session scheduled for this month (July). Any info. would be appreciate.
contact badminton bc directly they have not updated their website too often, but you can contact them by phone to find out the next set of classes. i recently deleted my emails from them, i do remember seeing one offered, but i thought it was a level 2. the level one is fairly generic, and covers more on basics of coaching rather than badminton specific.
You're right Badrad. Level 1 deals mostly with the coaching aspects and a little bit of technique - service, clear, drop, smash and general footwork (3 step to net only). But you can't skip the level 1 course though - the fee I think is about CAD 100
