1) BWF 6th World Junior Team Championships for team event (24 - 27 October 2008)
2) BWF 10th World Junior Championships for individual event (29 October - 02 November 2008)

-Venue : Badminton Stadium Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports City, Balewadi, Pune (formerly Poona), India

-Host Organizer : BAI (Badminton Association of India), www.badmintonindia.org

-Team Event will adopt Sudirman Cup format (mixed-team : MS-WS-MD-WD-XD)

2007 Result :

1) Team Event :
CHN beat KOR, 3-1
3rd place : SIN, 4th place : MAS

2) Individual Event :
MS -- Chen Long (CHN)
WS -- Wang Lin (CHN)
MD -- Chung Eui Seok/Shin Baek Cheol (KOR)
WD -- Xie Jing/Zhong Qianxin (CHN)
XD -- Lim Khim Wah/Ng Hui Lin (MAS)

Indonesia had bad result in last year edition, got 6th position at team event and didn't bag any individual title. INA will send 19 junior shuttlers to Pune and set target to secure final spot of team event. -- (KOMPAS, 09 October/08)

hey, I found out that actually the drawing is done....
for team event on 23rd sept'08 and individual events on 7th oct'08...
any one know the drawing result???

chong vee vian/ong jing er defeat lai pei jing/ong boon hui in penang open division 2 semis and won the title(opponent walkover in final)...
if i am correct...both ong are facing spm this year...wait i check
