    Hello fellow BFers...

I'm currently looking to replace my worn out SHB-98s and have not been able to find out so far which similar Yonex models (i.e. narrow, very light, etc.) came out after ? Could someone help me out ?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I think it would be the SHB99, and SHB91 probably came out around the same time. I'm not too sure though.

You can buy the shb98mx from www.luxissportnet.com

The SHB65R imho is narrow like the SHB98.

The SHB71 has the same sole design as SHB98 but is slightly wider.

    Hi Mike,

SHB98 was replaced by SHB99. SHB99 has ben replaced by SHB100. For your question, try SHB100-LX. It is narrower in front then SHB100-MX.

Thanks for the quick replies. It would seem that there is no equivalent to SHB 98 then if I judge by the comments on this forum (99 is heavier, 100 is stiffer and less comfortable, its arch is higher, and so on).

By the way, wouldn't 100 LX be a ladies model ? Note that I wear size 13...!

Which is why I have no choice but to buy shoes without trying them out first since, according to local badminton outlets here in Montreal, Yonex does not distribute shoes greater than size 12 in Canada...

    Cheers,

    Mike

P.S. The SHB 98 at that Hong Kong place mentioned in this thread would be too small, unfortunately, at 30cm....
