I'm curious as to what bird speed everyone here
    plays to.

Around here, a semi-hard forehand underhand drive from the
baseline should land the bird about 1-2 feet before
    the doubles service line.

    Is this considered standard?

I've heard that the world class level players would consider this
    slow.

the "standard" is, when hit from the baseline, with forehand, underarm swing, it should land around the double service baseline. the "standard" court have little markers at the sides that marks the range.
