It's good to see non-Djarum players like Adnan Fauzi, Tieke Ariedaningrum and Bellaetrix Manuputty in the draw. This tourney should be a good exposure for the junior players.
nice to say tat...no one is the clear favourite... in top half 1st seed, mak teo is the favourite...but please beware of ow/yew Bottom half 2nd seed and 8th seed are the favourite...au/goh long time didnt come out play liao...not sure about their condition...but please beware of lufti and vountus n chow/poh... SEMIS should be gan/ong vs mak/teo and lufti/vountus vs goh/lin i will say final is mak/teo vs lufti/vountus... others country pair tat can make it to semis will be a great acheivement......anyhow...i hope pow/chow can make some great upset here... actualy, all mas VS mas md match is a 50/50...
I would think that Djarum's junior pair Rizky Yanu Kresnayadi/Albert Saputra have a chance of progressing to the SF. Meanwhile, Mohd Ulinnuha/Didit Juang might also create some surprise. Didit just won the Kejurnas title with his regular partner, Seiko.
Ulin-Didit are among the best Boy's Doubles Under-19 players in INA... They are no pushovers for even the reigning World Junior Champs... They might be small-potatoes for KKK-TBH, but not for Teo Kok Siang and his partner...
Beryno Wong [seeded #13] will have a hard time fighting off Nugroho Andi Soputro [a.k.a. Gepeng]... This 2006 Kejurnas Taruna champ has the thundersmash...
wow, how hard is his smash? harder than lin dan or lee chong wei or not? never see he play b4 thats why i dunno.
Watch him play in KK... 2 months ago, Gepeng defeated 2008 INA Open semifinalist Kenichi Tago in Surabaya...
