    MEN'S SINGLES
    Hsieh Yu-Hsin
[4] vs Tommy Sugiarto [5] -- the real match for Tommy Sugiarto, after 2 warm-up matches. Hsieh has a slight edge, esp considering that he has beaten Andre a few weeks ago. It will be a major achievement if Tommy is to win the title this week.

    MEN'S DOUBLES
    Fernando Kurniawan/Lingga Lie
[1] vs John Gordon/Daniel Shirley -- a major test for Edo/Lingga, facing the veteran NZL pair. I hope they can rely on their speed and power game to beat the home pair.

Chew Jian Dee/Brent Miller vs Wifqi Windarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan [2] -- I think the home pair shouldn't pose a problem for Wifqi/Afiat.

I will be very dissapointed if these INA MD cannot at least reach the semifinals... :(
As for Tommy, mmm... a bit difficult... maybe a 40% chance of winning... :p

Don't worry, Wifqi/Afiat won't let you down :D Edo/Lingga should also win their matches....but they are not that convincing today (esp second set).

    I would agree on Tommy.

2008 New Zealand GP: jhirata is a line judge

    .
:D:D:D Imagine jhirata sitting on the sidelines with a camera taking photos of the players, and also taking photos of whether a shot is "in or out". :D:D:D

As expected, Melicia Kurniawan lost in straight-sets to Rachel Hindley: 15-21, 18-21.
