Or you can visit Sport Report at OUB Centre... I think you can get better price and string there...

Been reading a lot of posts on here recently about the karakal racquets Ive decided to order a m tec 85
Ive ordered one off amazon but firstly looking at the paint work I just want to check with you guys that its is a mtec 85 as the paintwork looks different to the one on the Karakal website and price wise I paid £27 for it when other websites are changing £40-£55 pounds for the same racquet
any help would be appreciated

It is the older version of the Mtec85 but I think other than the paint work which is different, everything else should be the same and in that case, this is really a very good price ! In fact, the color scheme ain't that bad too !

I reckon its an old version with the old paint work but Im happy with the price
I look forward to receiving it from amazon and then I can give a small review about it after I played a few sessions

Let us know how the racket plays for you....If for singles play string it 11.5 or higher for the best performance....doubles you can go lower tension

If it is exactly the same as the new version aside from the paintwork, then I can safely say that it will perform very well. But do feedback and let us know how you feel about it.

i ve played with reguler mtec80+hiqua iso 66 demo string...Balance point with string and without additional grip is 31cm, with kimoni grip is 29.5cm. Weight, it s light weight.. i thinx it similar to carlton powerblade 9500....this racket is rather stiff
i can tell the feel and other experience cos it look like i ve to change the string first...cos i felt i cant gett feel with iso 66
