The top three athletes that receive most votes will be nominated to be candidates for the Best Men Athlete award; and the winner, chosen by a special panel, will be announced on Nov 21. (all the entries are Olympic champions). Lin Dan, table tennis player Ma Lin, gymnast Zou Kai, boxer Zou Shiming, all have a chance of making the last 3, with their votes neck and neck. So, Lin Dan need more votes to hold on his second position to have a chance of winning. Personally, I think Lin Dan, Yang Wei (Team and All-around gold medalist) and Zhou Kai (3 golds) deserve a place in the final list.
