I just want to know if there is a difference between the Yonex Armortec 250 Red and the Green version apart from the color. Does their specifications differ? I hope somebody can enlighten me on this. Thank you very much.
The red is the limited edition while green is the normal version. From what i know there is no difference.
I believe the red racquet is the new color introduced in 2008, previously the 250 was green. The limited edition is mostly yellow with some red color. http://www.badmintonalley.com/SearchResults.asp
I have the limited Eidtion, looks cool. But another one is the Grey/ Silver one. Can't find out a pic online but I found it in M'sia. Looks quite cool.
The red is a new colour edition for 2008 The green version is the original colour when it's introduced. Well, let's not bore you with the specs, but i find that the Green At250 is harder to use than the RedAt250.
Basically the higher the number means they incorporate more design technology and features than the lower series racquets and are more expensive. The higher numbered racquets like the Armortec 900's and 700 are designed for more advanced players and the 250 and 150 are designed for intermediate-advanced players, it doesn't mean that you might like the 150 0r 250 more than 700 or 900 though. Here's the Yonex website that shows the different technology used in the different models: http://www.yonex.com/badminton/racquets/armortec.html
