Our club just bought 50 tubes of Ashaway golds after our supplier of Snowpeak Superiors folded.

We're finding that we're getting through shuttles a lot quicker than normal and everyone in the club now agrees that they don't fly as consistently and are much more fragile. Having said that they are pretty cheap.

    On the Yonex scale
Snowpeak Superiors marginally better than AS40
Ashaway Gold better than AS20 not as good as AS30.

After this batch we're probably going to try the Ashaway Platinums.

    Victor Shuttlecock

Recently I just buy Victor Champion No.1 Shuutlecock. Attached is the photo of the shuttlecock. I noticed that the cover written Victor shuttlecock Champion No. 1 and approved by IBF but the small sticker adhere inside shuttlecock is Gold No.1. The durability of the shuttlecock is average and fly is good. Any idea and opinion will appreciate Thanks.

Is Victor trying to pass off lower grade shuttles as their top end shuttles?

There are no more IBF approved shuttlecock. The new standard is BWF. Thus, all this shuttlecocks might be very old stocks.
