Yes, it's really subjective. I use Iwan's guideline as an estimate.
If you rate yourself as intermediate, then I'm a real low intermediate.
It will be endless to improve ourselves.

Some new guys can't have an easy fore hand shot also rate themselves as high intermediate. That's why I use baseline to baseline shot with back hand as a filter gate. Of course not so strict. My experience is that good players will not stay long if got weak players, unless the weak players are pretty girls. Haha...

And yes, Mus is a good and very experienced player. I have learned a lot from him when I played with him regularly a couple of years back. He's very sociable and always willing to share what he knows.

Nowadays, Mus is not as competitive and crazy about badminton as before. Although he plays more for leisure, he can still kick some serious butt.

Good to know you were an oganizer before. Indeed not easy, but passion about badminton drives me to do so for 5+ years already. Haha...

Luckily I got to know badmintoncentral and now it is not as tough as before, always needed to worry if can get enough players.

Minimum for new players is able to play a shot with back hand easily from baseline to baseline. Sorry to those who can't do so.
