new string pattern?

    heard info at a stringing seminar that stringing a badminton racket this way promotes power and sweet spot. What's your thoughts on this.

    1st 4 mains @ 24 start crosses @ 11.
    5-8 mains @ 22 2 up 2 down @ 24
    9-11 mains @ 20 next 2 up 2 down @ 22
    last crosses @ 20

    It is called proportional (or progressive) tension method. Do a search and you will find a long discussion on it. Depend on your racquet, if it is ISO, you might want to consider first 6 mains the same tension and drop 0.5lb every string after. I did give my 2 cents in the thread.
