Hi guys how are things? I'm interested in purchasing a very stiff racquet. I've tried the mp100 and i don't find it very stiff. Is there a particular stiff racquet anyone can suggest? I'm looking at the mp77, mp99, Ti-10, and carb 20 muscle. Thanks in advance.

    Try the MP 90.

BTW why do you look for a very stiff racket?

I'm looking for a stiff racquet because i can develop my own power from my technique and strength i don't need a flexible racquet to provide the power for me. I would prefer a little more control and stability and feel.

yes. for stiffness, either the Ti10. or may be the Iso600 (but that's harder to find)

the only draw back about the Ti-10 is that it's discontinued. And i would hate to change to another racquet you know? I'm trying to find a racquet that isn't discontinued. Is there anything else you guys would recommened? Mp77? carbonex 20mp?

I have an unused, never even strung before 900 SX SP, which I'd sell for a half decent price. Bought for me by mistake by a friend of mine :p

However I'm in Oz so postage to most places would be a killer, oh well maybe I'll string it sometime for those days when I'm feeling thuggish ;)

    I've just bought 3 Carlton AS-1
    and have to admit,
that I've never tried a stiffer racket than the AS-1 before.
Even a Ti-10 seems quite flexy compared with it.
    Unfortunately they're discontinued,
but that's why they're fortunatly on sale for appr. 60 US$ here in germany now.
I know that I have too many rackets, but at this price I just couldn't resist.
So first I bought just one for my collection,
because I really didn't expect much from it.
    Normally I prefer heavier rackets,
because I usually have problems to generate power with those lightweights.
But the AS-1 really surprised me.
Strung with BG-80 and with the plain wooden handle it weights 87g,
so it's appr. 2g lighter than my iso-800s or slim-10s,
but regarding the power it can match those two without any problems.
Additionally it's much more maneuvrable - defense and drives are really fun.
So I ended up buying two more AS-1.
Last time I went to the shop they still had 5 further AS-1,
so if anybody is interested, just send me an pm.

Because when they went to the TISP SX they made it significantly less stiff and less head heavy too. As such the 900 SX is a lot more extreme than the TI SX. I'd prefer a TI SX, however there's a lot of racquets quite similar to it now, there aren't that many in the 900 SX category, so it'll be mentioned long after it's gone, whereas the TI SX is too generic for veneration ;)

PS I'll swap a new TI SX for my unused 900 SX anyday ;)
