After the BOG08, it has been months I really wanted to watch this rematch. I did really disappointed when watching the BOG08 final, and now this should be a good game to watch. I am not expecting LCW to win but I just wanna see a good game. If LCW loose to LD without a good fight, my faith in LCW will be faint away.. COME LCW SHOWS OUR BEST.. Sorry.. I just wanna share my feeling here
Yeah same here. I was a bit frustrated when i was watching the olympics match. It didn't seem to be a world no.1 vs world no.2 match at that time. Hopefully tomorrow will be a good show, at least a close fight that satisfies the audience.
I think both players are not yet at their best after Olympics. LCW's best form this year was at the Thomas Cup. LD's was at the Olympics. But today, both had to dig deep against their opponents.
Hopefully Chong Wei won't lose to Lin Dan as bad as he did during the OG. I certainly hope he wins Lin Dan.. Chong Wei boleh !!!
ya, although LCW lose, better don't lose like OG, get less points... at least have rubber game, and more exciting move from both LCW and LD... hehe
Wonderful.. ..and good to hear! I hope LCW will give a better performance this time around; at least make it more interesting! On that note, are we going to hear from our dearest X Ball.....soon??..
ok hi to all i'm just now coming to see results.. and i see these two are already in the final! so good i;m not too late very interesting to see especially after LCW had so bad defense vs LD at OG is there some online web-translation tomorrow?
I do think that LCW has a good chance to turn the table around this time for his favour. there are a couple of things going for him. firstly, LCW is much more match fit than LD since the olympics, this is LD's first outing for 3 months and LCW been playing quite regularly. secondly, since LCW will be playing one the best player at his home ground he shouldn't has too much pressure to win. as long as he does not put too much pressure on himself he will play better and has a better chance. For both of them another SS title shouldn’t make much difference thus less pressure again. since LD and LCW are unquestionably the best two players around. with LD won last time it should be LCW’s turn, statistically. having said that all still not brave enough to put LCW down for my PAW. may the best player on the day win.
will be a cracker game allright.. an LCW win will be great for this rivarly. wud be interesting to look at head 2 head stats b/w the two this year
dont worry boleh fans, LD will likely be more relaxed, not under pressure to destroy and conquer like in the OG, just a normal win is fine He will open up a few gaps for LCW to look good LD will be generous kekekeke
I like Chong Wei to win but I don't think he will. It's all come down to handling the pressure and Lin Dan certainly has an edge! The only advantage Chong Wei has is this SS is not a huge event like World Championship, Olympics or All England so the pressure is certainly less. Anyway, as a fan of both LD and LCW, I just want to see a close match and be proud and talk about the "Woo and Ahh" after the match, not who crumble under pressure.
Hehe, same here Cooler. The thundering machine "Lin Dan" had a firmware update which modified his settings to the "Destroy and Conquer" mode during the BOG MSF. Let's hope he'll be playing in a less destructive way towards LCW this time Fingers crossed, Lin Dan Jia You!
Yeah I agree.. at Thomas when LCW meet LD, if you guys remembered the female commentator at 1 point said "look at LCW legs muscles it looks like a horse.." LOL
I am not expecting LCW to win but I just wanna see a good match . Agree ... Let's hope that LCW could win this 2008 China Open SS. It would make our International Badminton more interesting. .
The titans clash again I hope both players have a tight match. It would be a delight to watch (although the Singapore broadcast of this Super Series has been removed). With Taufik out in the early rounds, the best final one could expect would be LCW vs LD. I think LCW can win, but he has to find composure (he has a habit of going soft after a strong start). Lin Dan has not played a lot since the Olympics (in fact his absence from big tournaments in Denmark, Japan and France were noticeable).
