twobeer - u are from sweden and i can see that you have a lot of brand that i have not seen .... Just put in racket that you have tried and know ..... of course the list is endless and i know that there are a lot of good racket out there other than yonex ....
Karakal MTec 80 and MTec 85. They're both awesome for smashing but can defend as well. If you need more power, add some lead tape.
http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59255 'nuff said? just ignore the yonex ones.
twobeer you have tried so many racket and which one do you think is a good one ..... actually from my point of view you have tried them but not really play to their full potential ...
Thanks guys i am looking through the internet for all the models you guys mention ...... Dun stop add in more .....hahaahhahaha Happy playing and training
There are plenty of reviews around if you search the forum. I think it is futile to try starting an review all head-heavy,stiff rackets thread (therfore my previous comment/s). From my point of view I am sure neither You or I (or even LD for that matter) can use the stiffest rackets to their "full" potential Granted LD will be closer (and Fu Heifeng may be even closer)... but nobody has unlimited arm speed and strength, there is always a limit... Just look at Tiger Woods.. certainly the worlds best golfer, but he does not hit the furthest.. There are golfers that hit harder and longer.. but are still not best when all aspects of the game comes into play (just like in Badminton ;-) I would presume).. /Twobeer
Hey, LD plays some of his rackets to full potential! LD broke his AT700 in some game. I'm quite sure there isn't any more potential left in that racket. Others, he gave to the crowd. Those gets converted into monetary potential.
haha, good point :-D I've seen newbies break lots of rackets, are you telling me they also use it to the full potential We also have the issue of quality/warranties of some of the YY models I myself is guilty of the demise of 7 NS8000.. hardly using it to the "full" potential . usually the opposite ( a mishit breaking a string collapsing the frame due the the forces produced by the string breakage ) /Twobeer
Yeah.. full potential since no more potential left. I still have not forgiven myself for fully-potential'ing my beloved Cab30ms into the floor in a stupid shot about half a year back. On a more serious note though, I have no idea how to measure "full potential" than what I have mentioned. If it is measured by result (of a game or rally), smash speed, accuracy of whatever shot or any combination of the above, there is always someone else who can do it better. Personally, my take on rackets now is as Yoda say, "like, or like not. There is no try".
err........... if you want to be the best, one needs to be consistent. TW can hit consistently through out the 3-5 days of tournament. he may not lead in the 1st 1-2 days, but with consistency, walllaaaa..... world champion same to other sports such as badminton, one needs to be consistent not for days, but also every stroke
So true.. that is just my point it is not all about hitting ONE hard shot.. it is about hitting hard, wellplaced, deceptive smashes, consistently . and also be able to defend on those rare occations the opponent get the oportunity to hit an overhead stroke So it would be wrong to assume that a better player always hits harder than a weaker player.. Or that LD hits harder than amateurs for example /Twobeer
