Hongkong Open 2008 - Live TV Coverage

Here in Indonesia is very hard to get badminton live.
Even I already submit Indovision, they didn't show much Badminton live.

While astro which show more, has desided to closed their business.

sound strange. I thought badminton is INA's #1 sport.

Man i'm the most miserable BD Addict over here, cuz in Pakistan nobody ever shows a Badminton game live on local Channels,
espn Asia shows somw old Super series matches but not the current tournaments,anybdy there like to help me out with this problem,.....

Perhaps Sopcast would be able to help? I haven't actually tried it myself but I might look into it..

in asia, i think it is better to use pplive or tvants

This channel usually showed sport picture only when no programs

I used ASTRO before RIP, just 2 weeks ago subscribed first media, surprised they broadcasted live China Open on Saturday & Sunday feeded by CCTV-5.
I heard they brodcasted Japan Open this year too when ASTRO (Nusantara)didn't broadcasted it.

PPMate also works. Guang Dong Sports, Shanghai Sports, CCTV 5 are the usual channel showing badminton on livestream.

Starhub Singapore will be broadcasting the Hong Kong Open Semi-Finals and Finals live on Channel 22, timings as follows:

Semi-Finals: Saturday 29/11/08 12.45pm onwards
Finals: Sunday 30/11/08 1.15pm onwards

becasue astro only will broadcast the 1st session.

the chance is slim, look at those program schedules provided by various channels, except Shanghai Sports shows 19:45 - 23:30 but it is (R) or delay live instead. unless they are willing to turn it to live as they are the only channel 'free for badminton' during this period
