New club in East London

We are a friendly club playing in the Sports Hall of Woodford County High School, High Road, Essex IG8 9LA. We meet every Thursday from 7.30-9.30pm in a brand new,well-lit sports hall with ample parking and changing/shower facilities. Best of all, we use feather shuttles.

To answer your question-The standard is Good/Higher Intermediate onwards. Feather shuttles, only £6 a session. Friendly, no clicques, no hassles, just great Thursday nights of brilliant badminton in Woodford County High School.

Thanks to everyone's support, woodfordbadminton has now started a Wednesday session (7.45-10p.m). The formula is still the same, no cliques, no hassle with pegboard, everyone is given a warm welcome in our friendly club. There is no membership fee to pay, who can afford such a big layout in these hard economic times? No Sports centre fees either; just pay and play.

We started Sylvan Badminton Club as a social not-for-profit club in Aug 2011 and we are looking for new players of a reasonable club standard to join us at Bancroft’s School Sports Centre on every Wednesday, 7:30pm to 10:00pm.

The club has the use of 4 courts in the brightly lit sports hall of Bancroft's School, an independent school in Woodford Green, and we use the Yonex Aerosensa 30 goose feather shuttlecocks for our games.
