this new wave of youngsters are making a real impact on the international circuit. Some have been around longer than others, and have yet to make that breaktrhough (such as Gong Wei Jie). Others look to be hitting the ground running immediately (such as Qiu YanBo and Du Pengyu).

However, i just want to say, one guy who has caught my eye and who really looks the part, is Lin Dan's training partner, Kai Wen. Not only does the kid has whopping triceps, but I would go out on a limb and say he's the next Chn junior to challenge the current big 3 of LD, CJ and BCL.

the World junior champion, Zhengming of CHN, looks promising as well but he's a step or two behind these new CHN pros ATM.

One thing is for sure, CHN are not lacking quality MS (or WS)!! MD on the other hand...

LD's training partner is Wen Kai not Kai Wen.

Oh. so sorry I got the order wrong!!

With such a misleading error you'd think I was talking about someone else completely!

I should be careful not to say Dan Lin, otherwise people won't know who I'm talking about!

They are good, but not sure if any of them can take LD's place. CJ supposes to be the one, but he's still not there yet. Hope Wen Kai will be the one.

Oh I don't think anyone is going to take LD's place for a few more years to come!

When was the last time one player was so dominant in the MS circuit? Do we have to go back to the early 90s or even earlier? I just think, out of the new crop, Wen Kai seems to be the one who is going to make the biggest impact in the shortest period of time.
