It's on clearance at tennisnuts.com for £84.99! That's cheap by UK standards! My friend just bought one. Is this considered a fairly decent price? I'm looking at it's RRP of £160 while tryping this!!!... Also... why is this particular model at clearance prices?... hm... Isn't it THE top end model in terms of price for Yonex? Maybe they're bringing out a new one? For anyone that's interested, the MP99 is also on clearance for £64.99... again, i dunno if this is a good price or not compared to the rest of the world. I've bought from tennisnuts before, and they're pretty good when it comes to service.
The NS9K is often on clearance sales probably due to its fragile properties.. The MP99 is discontinued, but there are still plenty of it in stock.. I guess that the Arc10 is there to replace both the NS9K and MP99.
I've heard that the 9000 does break quite easily... But is it really as serious and frequent as they suggest it is? My friend only plays it with friends and as a hobby. I hope he hasn't wasted £85 of hard cash on a product that'll break in a few months... I know Yonex can make amends to this. But getting into all the formalities is a real pain.
We think it has something to do with the nano techncology making the racket less durable. Compared to other yonex rackets yes the NS series has less durability but that doesn't mean it will break. My NS9000X is over a year old and it hasn't broke yet. Probably because it's JP
My NS8000 has been serving me for over few months now. Still going very strong with few clashes with other racquets and the floor. No chips or any scratches. Pretty strong paint in my opinion.
In the UK at least. Three website are selling it at near half price, and I'm suure CentralSport had an announcement in the sidebar about it.. just can't seem to find it now. http://www.centralsports.co.uk/shop.php?page=yonexd&product=5822 http://www.ukrackets.com/shop/product.php/8177/--sale-----yonex-nano-speed-9000-x http://www.tennisnuts.com/ishop/677/shopscr3779.html
The JP versions have the least problem, not more durable. They all come from the same factory you know....
i quite aware of the coding issue as i have brought this up in 2002-2003 my question to u now is, why u say JP has the least problem while saying they came from the same factory?
Wowowo... I believe CP is good... They're made for Chinese Player rite? I forgot the code for common Chinese is it CN (CMIIW)...?
I don't know what the code for China is actually. I bought a TW racquet in China, surprisingly, but I believe the code for China can be CH or CN. And CP is definitely from China...
Well... I read somewhere in this forum xD... From someone's Arc10 (I hope I'm not wrong) which he said comes from Chinese Player, and It's CP coded. And China is CH, just confirm it xD.
