Hi Nick, There are no official Winex retailers in Toronto that I know of. I am still in discussions with the various retailers about carrying the Winex products but in the meanwhile, you can deal directly with me. Please PM me regarding what you need (e.g. more info on model xxxx, retail price, etc.)
Aww...a resurrection of an old post. Bigredlemon, you have been browsing the old topics Lee's is not an official Winex retailer. She gets her stuff from HK (limited and not current models).
Yup... sticky note says to search the forum before posting Does it matter what if someone is an official winex distributor? More importantly, why don't you setup shop in TO? There's nuff people on this board alone to keep you in bussiness
Official winex retailer = recognition of manufacturer's warranty (not to say that Lee's wouldn't cover the warranty themselves). If you bought a Winex racquet from Lee's and there are defects, you will have to bring it back to Lee's for replacement. Setup shop in Hogtown (Hmmm....tough one). Family happens to love Vancouver Am working on getting retailers in TO to carry the Winex line of products.
Well let us know when that finally goes through. I know Yonex is know cuz of marketing, but Winex is pretty barebones eh??? Have you seen how ugly the web site was when it used to be online? I dont even think they have one anymore. Even my local grocery store has a better web site I find it odd that Winex (relatively big in badminton) can't even get someone to carry their stuff in TO (relatively big into badminton.)
It's a chicken and egg problem. Retailers are unsure how well the Winex racquets will sell compared to Yonex. Not having the racquets easily available, the consumers are forced to choose whatever the retailers have in their stores. As for Winex Taiwan, the website has been redesigned early this year and the URL has changed. It's http://www.winex.co.tw (I have no comments on the website)
Have them to go to any badminton club... I'm sure most of them will agree that as many winex racquets would be sold as yonex. I'm pretty convinced that for the ~50-100 dollar price range, winex beats yonex for racquets of the same price. BTW, I'm getting a server not found error for that site for the past month. That includes right now. Google's cache is empty for that address too. Does it work for you?
This website actually looks pretty nice! I must have been looking at some regional winex web site then! Btw... Hi Qua's seems to be doing Yonex knock offs too now... ie Muscle Ace. Name sounds less cheesy than Mighty Muscle.. even sounds better than muscle power.
I have a winex raquet you can purchase hey i was just wondering if u wanted a winex ti-11. if you are intrested you can email me at daryllee2001@yahoo.com. this raquet is a brand new one unstrung and plastic rapper still on its handel.
Hmmm... Recently have trouble to access this site. Either, gives me an error message for "site not found", or bring me to some weired "machine shop" site... Any idea?
Hmm??? Just clicked on the link again. It brings me to a "radiator saling" site. Can anyone re-post the link??? I just used www.winex.com.tw
someone must have forgotten to pay their domain fees... but strange, domain isn't expiring for another month: Registrant: World Winex Co.,ltd. 26, Lane 505, Yangmin road, Kaohsiung, Taiwan TW Domain Name: winex.com.tw Record expires on 15-JAN-03 (DD-MMM-YY) Record created on 14-NOV-00 (DD-MMM-YY)
Probably the server has the virtual hosts malconfigured. It would be funny if Winex left the badminton bussiness and started cloning radioators
Winex is now available in Toronto Hi all T.O. folks, Just wanted to publicize that Winex racquets are now available in Toronto through Nick's new sporting store, http://www.repulsivesports.com or alternatively you can contact Nick via this forum.
