Hi there I've played badminton for 10 years. I'm a bit like an all rounder (60% offense, 40% defense). Now I'm looking for a new racket? Any advice? Can a light racket (4U) generate a powerful smash? I wanna be offensive but also need a good defense also. Looking forward to ur advices Thks NR
How about Sotx Woven 9? This is my primary racket. It's light and can generate a reasonable smash since it's slightly head heavy. I wouldn't say it has a very powerful smash but it's good enough for me. I use bg80 @ 22/24 lbs. You may look at Woven 7 for a more powerful smash. Of course you may sacrifice some quickness on defense since it's head heavier.
Whoa cooler, do you mean AT900 Technique or AT800 Defense, because there isn't a combination of both. If you are a, all-rounder, like me, I think you would want to try Nanospeed 9000S, ArcSaber 10, or Muscle Power 99. All three of these racquets can generate reasonable power and can defend pretty good. But I'm more like 55% offense and 45% defense.
i mean both 800de and 900t but i used shorthand I use both 800de and 900t so i got them intermixed in my head since 800/900 isnt really a defensive racket, yonex change the naming to technique wow, people are reading my EVERY alphabets
Yes, I do read carefully. Back to the point, I have yet to try a 800 Defense because I couldn't find one in my area. Actually, I only have the AT900T on my hands right now.
AMP88 and AMP90 may suit your playstyle if u choose Apacs...for me AMP90 provide me 9/10 offensive and 8.5/10 defend...=D
nano pro 900 white & Apacs Armor Muscle Pro 88 or 90 ??? Hi there I am now considering between apacs nano pro 900 white (many ppl told me that Yonex ARMORTEC 900 TECHNIQUE will suit me so I think nano pro 900 white is identical) and Apacs Armor Muscle Pro 88 or 90 (dunt dare to go to the 95, maybe too much for me) Generally, I'm a bit all round (60% offense and 40% defense), I try to smash every time I can (although I dunt have really strong arms), but I also need to defense (retrieving smash - that's why I think the 4U rackets may help). With one do think that can fit me well? Hope to hear from u soon Thks NR FYI: I always play doubles, no single
I think Nano 9000 Power (Red) is the equivalent to AT900T, and the white one is supposed to be AT900P. I can't remember... Better ask phandrew....
Nano 900 power red is AT900P....Nano 900 White is AT900T....but seriously....AT900T may feel different from Nano900White if AT900T is in 3U version...if u can accept 4U..then Nano 900 white may suit u...if 4u is too light for u....better go for AMP's series...
Red apacs racquet = red yonex racquet white apacs racquet = white yonex racquet *(In terms of intended design). therefore, N900P red will be similar to AT900P N900P white will be similar to AT900T.
maybe Arcsaber 10 will suit you it is fast ,and the UltraPEF wont make your wrist numb after continuous smashes..
From click each racket on the APACS site (they really should make a chart or something) the Visible Hollow 1700 appears to be similar to the AT900T. I has a 290mm BP, aero x section. Try it. In interested in one myself as i am a AT900T user and would like another back up anyone have experiances with this racket?
hi all thks 4 ur advice I'm currently using forza 4U racket and it has a great defense side however the the offense is juz okie, so I wonder if we have the 4u racket that can generate decent power? Thks 3U's also fine but dunt know which one to go for. The visible hollow 1800 <-- is it hard to use? since i saw ppl said that it's a bit demanding Nano Pro 9600 Tour <-- I really like this one but any chance to get it in singapore?
