Hi everyone, i have PICTS of the latest Carlton rackets & bags. the range looks very attractive and different from the norm. will upload soon. does anyone have picts of carlton rackets, can you insert the image, would love to see them.
Hi Everyone, i have attached a list of new Carlton rackets . Once i get some product info, i will upload it as well
That's interesting. What is the price range and where can I get it? Any detail specifications for each model. Currently, I own one Cartlon nano power 9900 and is very good for front play intersecting incoming drive.
actually, the PowerBlade 9902 and 9909 look the same like they always have.other than that, i dont know.
the new carlton products look pretty cool and great, its been quite a while since ive seen that much new stuff from carlton pitty their site still hasnt been updated or anything still that same old coming soon page.
"In 2009, the brand Carlton will be transition to Dunlop. Dunlop who owns and manufacturers the Carlton badminton line of equipment will concentrate on one brand, Dunlop Sports"- Badminton alley maybe that explains it..... it will be a large loss though, since carlton rackets are some of the best i have player.
There's a difference between them. It is on the lower part of the shaft. For the 9909, the lower 1 inch of the shaft has a woven texture, for the 9902, it is aluminium I believe. Hmmm, does it means that no more Carlton branded racquet any more ? That is sad, as the brand has a lot of history. I have a Dunlop Aerogel 800XL and the specs similar to the Carlton, plays similar also and the build quality is good, just wondering if it is wise for them to develop Dunlop as a brand instead of using a brand that has a lot of equity. I guess they are thinking that in terms of marketing, they can get more mileage as they can always leverage on the marketing they do for Dunlop tennis series.
Wow nice picts, finally i get to see some range of Carlton. these look very different from the ones in the UK websites. these are authentic right? We need some more info Michael. i have been using Carlton for sometime and have recnetly invested in a Powerblade 9909. its a very good racket. good response . a little head light but i love it. Fits my game. one thing i noticed is that the paintwork designs have evolved and look more updated now. Is there a website for these new models?
yeah.carlton seems that have launched different lines in different areas. i would love to have the asian line here in the USA. They look really good, and from what i read, performance matches up as well.
I didn't even know Carlton had different racket ranges in Asia. I thought it was the same globally. It seems the UK didn't have have the same 2008 range as Asia. I wonder why they did that? Marketing strategy seems to be changing after Carlton got bought by Sports World, and I hope the change is for the positive. I do hope they are keeping the Carlton name and standardizing the range across the world. Some of these rackets look prety nice. Wonder how they play...
Hi Guys, sorry for the delay . . Yes there is a Carlton Asia and a carlton UK version. The Asia models are slightly lighter and the details, decals and materials are more updated and in-line with other Asian brands. the website will be up soon from what i hear. Carlton Asia intends to ruffle some feathers with the quality of its range rather than introducing a vast line. The number of rackets it has has increased but steadily. Each model has a certain capacity and strength. i still have not got the specs and technology used. am sourcing for it and will post it once i get it. as for Dunlop plans next year, i dun think they will relinquish Carlton, they have just appointed someone in Asia to look after the Carlton business. One things for sure, Carlton is steeped in heritage and has stayed true in remaining solely dedicated to designing badminton Rackets and no other product range outside of Badminton.
geeez......... Micahel Jackson in carlton badminton racket line now...? no longer want to sing and dance? MJ, thanks for the photos. looking forward for the specs.
Any news with the spec? I can't wait any longer ............... :crying: BTW, anyone know where in Hong Kong sales Carlton racquets? Ted
Tedski, I saw some at www.kaisengbadminton.com, they don't show it at on the website but they do have some at their store.
