Boonsak PONSANA[THA] -[CHN] Jin CHEN [3] can BP breaks the great wall of china? hmm, if BP wants to win this game, he have to really works very hard tho.. hope bp can give cj a run for the money .. Lin ZHU [5][CHN] -[CHN] Xingfang XIE [4] XXF have the slighly advatage in this match i would say.. but anyway, ZL will surely wants to have a better performance expecially in the land of hong kong.. Kien Keat KOO [5][MAS] Boon Heong TAN[MAS] -[MAS] Mohd Zakry ABDUL LATIF [4][MAS] Mohd Fairuzizuan MOHD TAZARI both players knows each other game very well for sure.. expect a 3 sets tight game in this.. but the most importantly is, there's a malaysian pair in the final. Chen WANG[HKG] -[HKG] Mi ZHOU [2] wow, i dunno how to decribe about this match after seeing their names in this match.. this should be very interesting for us to watch too.. expect a tight and thrilling 3 sets in this Taufik HIDAYAT [7][INA] -[CHN] Dan LIN [2] woh, woh, woh! what can i say about this match? this should be quite a thrilling and clash of the titans match.. this should be a big cracking game.. those who dont have strong heart, better dont watch this.. later wil get heart attack.. anyway, can this sole ina representative in this tournament carries the ina flag till the final round? iah! btw, the semi final order of play can be found here>> http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=25607&d=20081129 with there are 2 session for the semi final. 1st session-1pm 2nd session-6.30 pm fyi..
^^I have a strong suspicion..^^ ..BC will be quite full tonight/later today for the scheduled TH vs. LD clash...And yes, both players know what's at stake & i feel both players will definitely give it their best!!..
Afternoon Session: Zhang Yawen/Zhao Tingting over Wong Pei Tty/Chin Eei Hui - a very close match to call. Odds favour the Chinese on account of their current momentum, but I am very happy with MAS girls' consistency as they take up position as the best non-CHN pair from the Olympic Silver Medallist of Korea. Chen Jin over Boonsak Ponsana - also another close match, but I will tip it in Chen Jin's favour, given that Boonsak's killer instinct is lacking in his previous matches. Xie Xingfang over Zhu Lin - could go the other way based on CHN teams "legendary" acting skills. Lee Yong Dae/Lee Hyo Jung over Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter Juhl - Top Korean pair show their vanquished teammates how to whack the Danes silly ...... Koo Kien Kiat/Tan Boon Heong over Mohd Fairuzizuan Tazari/Mohd Zakry Abd Latif - kind of a formality really. Koo and Tan to progress. Evening Session: Xie Zhongbo/Zhang Yawen over Zheng Bo/Ma Jin - the best pair not to qualify for the Olympics go alll out to to prove another point. Wang Chen over Zhou Mi - Battle between ex-CHN and now HK teammates, Zhou Mi may just defer this one to her more senior colleague. Lin Dan over Taufik Hidayat - match of the night, and we hope to see a game of the same calibre as Taufik vs Gade at the French Open Final (which cost me the PAW title ..... :crying Cheng Shu/Zhao Yunlei over Ha Eun Jung/Kim Min Jung - CHN's new upcoming pair started off well but lacks variation. Korean new top pair may just expose them tactically. Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae over Nathan Robertson/Anthony Clark - after the labour last night, one wonders if the ENG pair has the legs to take hard punishment from their opponents .......
I wish Boonsak and Taufik win, Boonsak should has slight higher chance. Logically HK MS winner should be LD. MD will be Korea vs Malaysia.
Hmm..wonder will TH has something up his sleeve today... Good luck CEH/WPT. Fight for the final ticket!
The good thing coming from this semis lineup is that tomorrow's finals will be international affairs for at least 3 of the 5 disciplines. And the other 2 disciplines could be international affairs too, depending on whether Boonsak/Taufik and the Malaysian/Korean women fare.
hmm, i wonder where can i watch the evening session live?..i checked the astro website they didnt broadcast it...
