you could actually walk from boon keng mrt to whampoa cc. one of the mrt exits lead to the hdb flats (block 101) and you walk through the void decks to reach the CTE, cross the overhead bridge and keep on walking until you should see the CC. it should take no more than 15mins. http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel_id_3530/travel_site_40433/5/
