This is our internal affair that, I, the organizer of this group would want every single soul to participate / find a partner either to pair up for Men Double / Mixed Double or Women Double.

No fixed rule till today. You may be playing in Mixed Double, you can at the same time have another partner for Women Double or even you are in two Men Double pairs. The idea is to improve our playing skills and be ready for any Friendly Match Invitation.

just a small note, perhaps those players in our group who had the privilege of proper training would be willing to impart/share their learnings with the rest of the group. this will enable other members who dont have any idea of proper techniques/positioning in court etc to learn and improve gradually....

Really appreciate your point. Another good suggestion from Cheemao....we will try to facilitate this.

I think finding a partner and just pairing with the person all the time won't improve anything much. I suggest we use 1 court for drills and teaching by some of the more experience players or for half court singles (singles game using only half court using old score system, meaning 4 people can play on one court). Half court singles train clears, dropshots, smashes, shot precision, power, footwork and stamina. Mixing it with doubles games might be good, given that playing games all the time doesn't really help to improve. Especially so given that new score system ends so fast, shots and stamina won't be improved.

I suggest that in future when Unity Sec is up, we just book 3 courts from 5pm to 8pm and 1 court from 8pm to 9pm. If the 4th court isn't booked (which is highly probably), we can use that court for training, especially so for 8-9pm.

And at the same time, I will get more copies of Badminton Training Video by Zhao Jianhua and Xiao Jie which really worth watching and learn...I will get them circulate. Only 1-15 episode is English subtitled, sorry.

Yes, but will try to finish by 8PM if possible so that those want to leave can leave earlier, can continue with our regular games or even play more games with our opponents.
