Hi... regarding the mopping of slippery floor, I would say it is kinda time consuming though feasible. From my experience, it take about seven mins to mop all four courts but fifteen min for it to dry, unless you are to take another cloth to dry it yourself.

Furthermore, to be frank, mopping the floor do not always solve the slippery problem.

I have a suggestion. There is a kind of fire extinguisher that sprays out white powder. That substance when rubbed some on the floor, creates friction. That is what my school did back in the days. If you dun believe me, you can try some outside the court first for testing.

We have been talking about slippery floors because we dont want yet another injury. Have you heard about ankle injury?? Torn archilles, etc.

In case you did not know the common injury players incur while playing badminton, see below for some common injuries.

Most common related injury are:

1) ankle injury
2) knee injury
3) back injury
4) elbow injury
5) shoulder injury
6) wrist injury


On the other hand, i have not heard of people or badminton players incur buttock injury while playing badminton. Wonder how you do that??? Or buttock training for badminton??? Skill must be super good leh. Ha Ha Just kidding!!!

I dunno where what's the product brand or where to get it... becos my coach was the one who brought the product to the practice sessions. He only explained that he got it from the fire extinguisher.

I believe he kinda spray the product out directly from the fire extinguisher.(anyway, from what I heard, it is illegal to misuse fire extinguisher) I can help you find out more details on that from him if necessary.

But like wad shuennms said, I believe the sports council should be the one responsible to keep the courts free from danger. So hopefully the council would be able to resolve this problem.

Pertaining to all the feedbacks on the flooring. I have filed a complaint to SSC particularly as of below;

- Slippery flooring
- Dark stairway
- Inappropriate walkway at the entrance / gate
