Totally agree with louislkw. I think all of us have to agree that the committee are doing a good job. They provide a consistant booking of courts without fail every saturday, moreover sometimes the committee made a lost($$$). Guess some of you didn't know. Relatively new in this group, but i know abit here and there la. Key po ma!!!

I have join many groups, young and old, some of them did not manage to get booking of the courts. so they have to settle for another day. whereas here, the committee had 100% booking records, which is very outstanding.

General Information.

1) CCK stadium is one popular ground for playing badminton, some other popular stadium such as tampines stadium, hougang stadium and jurong east. CCK STADIUM is one of the best stadium in terms playing badminton. Very hard to get a court in CCK STADIUM!!!

2) Shuttles prices has been soaring like rockets. I dont want the committee to make a lost when they have done such a good job. Guess everyone of us agree to that. That is not fair too. Unless somebody can do a better job, please volunteer. I think it will be a great help. The committee will be very appreciative.

3) Collection of money.

I would suggest that the committee collects example $27 a month for regulars players and $7 for adhoc players, this will ensure that there is sufficient funds and pre determine the number of courts to be book. When there are more players, which means more money, more courts can be booked. This will save them a lot of headache. Many groups are using this method. It is very convenient and problem solving way. Most important everybody saves money. For regulars especially. Remember, "members has its privileges" ha ha. I suggest that the committee will consider this.

First, a big 3 "Clap Clap Clap" for you and the committee members efforts. Thanks for organise the event. I think most of us have fun during the play. .

Really appreciate you guys wake up in the early morning for booking the court and buy the shuttle for us to hit.

I don't think charging 1 buck more is really that matter because:
1. Wake up in the early to book the court
2. Travel to shop to buy the shuttle and carry back to home (Not 1 or 2 tubes)
3. Bear the cost for "no show"

I think he is more than happy to sit in the office for one more hour for OT which is more than that.

So, please no hard feeling. Everyone here is just to have "Badminton Fun, Let Enjoy".

Actually I am considering how many people can be in a group of regular.... just realised that we had more than 16 that join us quite regularly now. Hahaha ....

Give me another 2-3 weeks to find a better way to serve our regulars so that regulars will have more priviledge to play, pay lesser compared to achoc, etc....

100% courts booking, the credit should goes to Kelvin & Kathryn, they are the one who kept it going after I failed to book nowadays. Will keep up again !!!

Yes, good idea that regulars members should have a privilege over non regulars but not at the expenses of the commitee members. Alex, Kelvin and Kathryn have all put in extra efforts so that we can all enjoy our regular game every Saturday without fail so lets ensure that they do not loose money for booking of courts and buying of shuttles.

Oneforall, do you have any lobangs for cheaper shuttles? Right now the RSL shuttles were bought by me at $25 a tube. That's the cheapest I can find. Hope you can offer lobang for even cheaper ones.

Cheers, thanks for the comments, this group has live!! anyway, the $27 fee is only an example, it can be more or less depending on the budget. so let the committee decide.

I understand the student will have a hard time paying a total sum of $$$ in one go. If this method of paying is approved by committee, assuming that the amt $28 is paid per month, divide the into 4 weeks, the student pay $7 per week, this is only for students who commit themselves for a month, for those under adhoc basis, the student pay "adhoc" price which is decided by the committee again.
