Drop Plate Stringing Machine

It's slowly turning into quitte the death contraption.

You could even use the pulley's, and then the lver for the weights, and incorporate some sort of ratchet, so you can jack up the weight with your feet, making multiple drops possible.

this whole plan has 'crushed foot' written all over it...

Soon, the whole thing will look more complicated than the average drop-weight machine

That thought has come over my mind when I came up with the figure 1. I actually thought of some death trap for my foot and after thought of 25 lb of weight dropping on my foot, I decided to go with figure 3. However, the thought of the foot tensioner slip and hit me in the head does not make me feel any better... Figure 4 will come up later tonight.
