when i was at sportexperts (in Ottawa-cause thats where i live) i saw most or if not most all of the high end Yonex racquets costing about $299.99!!!!!! why do they sell them for such a high price? can anyone tell me?
i was stuck on that delimma as well ( i live in ottawa as well). In the end, i buy online. If you want Fast, reliable and best of all...free strings + fast shipping in ontario, I would reccommend you buy from maxposrts.ca. Ive bought from them many times and all i can say is A+++ service + shipping. Best of all, they're located in Toronto so it will take about 2 days for the racket to arrive =)
dont go to sport check.. at700 for $200.. without string.. before tax.. ns4.5k.. $190.. without string.. before tax..
ya i never see high end rackets at sport check... last time i check i saw a nano 800s and an arm250s..those were like the highest end rackets sold there.
sometimes they carry the highend.. try the sportcheck in scarborough town centre.. ridiculous pricing though.. at700 @ 200 with pricing.. that would mean.. 220 with stringing outside.. 250.80 with tax!
none. Sports experts @ Rideau centre sells the BK Vortex as their highest end racket ( no yonex). Mark @ Sports Experts bayshore sells the highest end BK/Yonex. I think he is more knowledgeable on badminton. And you can try to get him to lower the price a little. Also, you can ask if he is selling any of his demo's.
I dont know for ottawa but for montreal theres tenniszon http://www.tenniszon.com/Intro/Tenniszon/index.html but for what i know tenniszon is about the best for montreal, i love it really bough 2 racket from em (bk feather xl, at 250) the feather for my friend though no complain. Watch for some tennis related shop in ottawa maybe theres gonna be some badminton there , a nice way to make money since they have the tring machine for tennis badminton isnt a lot more. so they probably will have rackets or squash there
well the only places in ottawa to get a variety of high end rackets are Sports Experts @ bayshore and Ra centre. Other than that, theres no where else in Ottawa.
