Hi Guy, I am wondering can ti10 3U U.S version string with 28 pounds? Anybody try that tension with 3U. Any advise will be very helpful. thank a lot.
try it. and let us know afterwards. i think it will be marginal. what are you trying to achive with such high tension?
I am used to ti10 2U version with 26 pounds. So I am thinking of string with 3u with 26 pounds. I'm sure 2u can take 26 pounds real well. Then leave me question with the 3U I am getting. If the racquet can string to 28 pounds, then I think 26 pounds will be pretty safe. Right now if I play with racquet less than 25 pounds I will feel it's too slow and the tension just not high enough will bother me. Don't know u guy have same feel or not. Just can not stand low tension. I bought some racquets will lower tension, after couple games I just can't take it and have to cut it. Just can't save myself some money without stringing the racquet. By the way, how big different with 2U ti10 and 3U ti10? Anyone of you know?
Ask Ricky! I think the best person to ask this question is Ricky. I mean he can open his racquet shop with the quantity and variety of racquet under his collection. He has both Ti-10 2U and Ti-10 3U.
my 3u cab23 is at 25x27lb with no deformailities...no warpage or anything. just the frame is slightly elongated(normal). so ti10 should take 28 no prob. just take it to a good stringer.
