Im planning on buying an APACs racket on the site and I've chosen the AMP90 with the BG65 string at..... well i want it to be 22lbs.

But, I dont get the main/cross choices? The choices are not in numberical order and their different numbers? Im thinking the right one is 20/22 lbs but theres one that says 21/23 lbs ...

Any help on this would be appreciated.:p

If you want it to play at 22lb for the BG65 then ask for 22/24. The BG65 looses tension very quickly initially therefore it's wise to over tension it by 2 pounds.

the reason they have the crosses higher than the mains is because they string the main's first. This "fatten's" the head. when they string the crosses the head unfattens increasing the main tension. To have the tensions the same for mains and crosses it's recommended that the crosses are about 10% higher than the mains.

    Thank you so much!

Now that you told be about the BG65 losing tension, i think i might go for the BG80.. So does that mean i should get 21/23lbs?
