JJS and LYD won the gold medal in Korea Challenge Open (second teer) at YoeSoo, Korea This was the third consecutive gold medal after the medals from CO/HKO, I remember. Coach Lee, Dong Soo highly recommend him to join XD with Lee, Kyungwon. That pair (if possible) would be the nuke for JongBo/ Yawen. http://dory.mncast.com/mncastPlayer.swf?movieID=10042182420081213204939&skinNum=1 Here is a part of quater final.

They are now #2 in IBF ranking. They seem to be in a good mood to the top.

    BTW What's "Pertamaxx Gan!!"?

Awww, this guy is ignored too often because LYD is young and better looking. But he's no worse, and since its doubles, a lot of it is his ability to synchronize with his partner so he should get the same amount of credit per win. Lately it just seems to all go to LYD.
Its actually fun to watch this doubles team play, but ignore the bird and just focus on the sync of the bodies of the two players. They hop in synch and move in sync, its so perfect. I tihnk this is probably the biggest cause of their success

Couldn't agree more. JJS is one of my favourite players to watch, thanks in no small part to that shocking smash - how does such a tiny guy get so much angle:eek:...

Unfortunately for badminton, I believe he is currently doing his SK National Service, so we'll have to wait for him to reappear. He and LYD make an excellent pair IMO, and one of the best indicators is their rotation when on the attack - they are almost telepathic when swapping over.

You are correct that he is about to start his service but Jung says we won't have to wait. His coach Kim Joong Soo says the same thing and the two are entered in the first two Super Series events of 2009.

I'm really glad he'll still be able to compete. I'm reminded of Goran Ivanesevic's National Service for Croatia, but he would retire to his own yacht at the end of the day:p.

Photo 2 - dear God. A racket should NOT bend like that...

He lost to his regular partner in the semi-finals in Andong. Here is one photo.

Definitely. AFAIK, Kido is 1 cm shorter than JS and Hendra is 1 cm taller than YD.
And as well as their sizes, their playing styles are very similar and they play at the highest speed; that's because they are top at drives and control plays. :)

JJS kindly keeps replying to the questions from the amateur players in his fan site. The most popular questions are about "strong smashes". We can get comments on our skills, practice methods, etc. communicating directly with the world top player absolutely for free.

    :)

anyone why jung jae sung keeps switching racket models so often? whereas LYD seems to just stick with BS 09, since Korea National switched to Victor it appears JJS has played with all their rackets except SW 36....originally using SW35 then BS09 then BS10 then BS11 and back to BS10....anybody have any clue as to why?
