    Default Canon sx1 IS

    i just know that canon have new cam, Canon sx1 IS. is this S5 IS replacement? this looks really good and oso have high definition movie recording. what do u think bout this cam 4 badminton shooting?

    yes, i read that thread b4 too.but this sx1 IS is far better than both of the cam and have CMOS n DIGIC 4.i want to buy this but is still expensive.waiting for price 2 drop.n yes this is S5 IS replacement. cool can take HD movies with this cam too

    It's so new, nobody knows how good it is for badminton shots.

    The telephoto part does not look very promising with a f stop of 5.7. That means when you zoom, the picture will be very dark or you get a lot of blurring indoors without a flash.

    If your requirments are not high, then it looks interesting.

    oh ok.thanks for the info.i have read bout the nikon p80 too.if any1 tired this canon already ,pls compare it to nikon p80.thanks a lot
