    Hi all,

    Just wondering if people have favourite and least favourite strings? Of course this will soely be opinion based.
    I don't recall anyone doing this before, if they have, please tell me (or give me a ticking off, haha). Thanks!

    Eg:

    Favourite String(s):
    Ashaway Micropower, BG80, BG66

    Satisfactory String(s):
    BG65TI, Wilson Sensation Braid (.68)

    Unsatisfactory String(s):
    BG68TI (for some odd reason), Wilson DynaSmash (.72)

    Sadly I have only used/experienced the above.

    String(s) that I want to try:
    BG85, Nanogy 98, Ashaway MicroLegend

    1st choice: yonex bg85 - power & control string. not so durable as complained by others. for me, at USD10 for string & labour, not that big deal to change every 2 months.

    2nd choice: yonex bg80 - good playability string, value for money

    3rd choice: yonex nbg98 - almost perfect string. so sad, it is expensive.

    some of dislike strings;
    1. bg66 - good playability string but in the 1st few sessions only. not durable.
    2. rsl ti630 - cheap but slippery string and i feel that ti strings are not nice to play.
    3. bg66 sharp - slippery string and expensive.

    Satisfactory Strings:
    BG65(22X24)

    Unsatisfied Strings:
    BG65-Ti(23X25) (Slippery, provides little control when hitting hard. Drops tension to 20X22 in about 5-6 months)

    Wanted to try strings:
    BG66, BG70-Pro, NBG98

    Want to try: Yonex SemeTitan and TobiTitan (will be a job for when I come back from Belgium)

    Hate: BG-65Ti, BG-68Ti, NBG95

    Tension: 27/29 to 29/31 (non-Vectrans), 26/28 (Vectrans) - with plastic shuttles, I should add.

    I like/love the BG80, NGB95 and BG65

    I don't like this orange with cris-cross black string from Ashaway... not sure what it's called...

    OK: BG65, 65P.

    hate: 65Ti. way too slippery, and have no control on the net.

    24 to 26 lbs for BG80, and 2lb + for 65s.

    Like: NBG98 (30x32), BG85(30x32), BG80(28x30), BG88TI
    OK: NBG95, BG66, BG65, CBG100
    Dislike: BG65TI, BG68TI, BG70PRO
