Congrats, Lay. I was among the crowd, didn't expect you guys to be able to return from the dead ..... 3 matchpoints saved against the reigning World Champions is no mean feat.

Though we know you have done in before in Indonesia Super Series, I was there as well.

The Danish pair was like 4 points trailing in the rubber set with the Indonesian with match point. They did well to win by holding their nerves well. Congratulations.

I was at the edge of my seat watching their match. The two teams were neck and neck throughout the game.

I was really impressed with Kamila and Laybourn, considering they were up against a many-times title holder pair. Kamila is starting to get better at the front, taking full advantage of her height, cutting whatever weak returns the Indonesians make. Thomas Laybourn was great as usual. He's a very diligent player (never say die!!! :D), diving and saving difficult shots thrown at them.

    GREAT MATCH!!!

Highly level coach/player for the National Team

    Hi Mr. ,

Could you recomend us a highly level coach/player for the National Team of Dominican Republic (Sunny Island in the Caribbean)

The conditions of payment are between one and two thousand dollars monthly, food and lodging included. Their responsibilities are to coach and play with the National Team (20 athletes) through the Central American and Caribbean Games. If you know someone who can coach and play at highly level please recommend us someone with these conditions,

    Wating for your quick answer,

    Generoso Castillo

Maybe you could try to talk to Kenneth Johannsen. He might consider upon his recent retirement from active badminton. Could any Dane Badminton Player, Supporter and Friend of him could relay your message, please?! Sad to see such great skill and talent fade so fast and easy. Peter Rasmussen is another great choice.

Indeed....the Danish pair was excellent throughout the tournament. They truly deserve to be the World Champions. Nova/Butet simply lost to the best pair!
