Hi guys, pls help, I told my friend to bring a AT900 back from Sweden when he's coming for holiday, I mentioned G3 is my size but he came back with a G4, telling me there's no G3.

Then I tried "centralsports" and "directsportseshop.co.uk", both of them telling G4 is the default size, so my question is: are there G3 in the market at all?

    thanks in advance!!

I suppose it could go in either.

Both the AT900P and AT900T (power and technique) come in 3U and 4U. The 4U models only come in G4 but the 3Us come in G3, G4 and G5. For more information visit the Armortec page of the Yonex website.

LOL, I was posting on a PC forum at the same time as this one  Sorry about that.

It's too late to edit so I'll post the link here.

This American store has the AT900 in 3U so it is still available.

Found it! This site will ship to the UK. The AT900T would cost you £102.71 + £16.40 (postage) and that would be unstrung. For it to be strung with BG-65, you'd have to pay another £6.47. The AT900P would be the same price but they don't have that in G3.

JT sports have the AT900P and AT900T in 3U G3 and are slightly cheaper than the website I linked to above.

I've checked all my links this time ;)

What's to say it's a UK racket? Many shops sell rackets that are not meant for distribution in their particular company ie; mybadmintonstore (they sell SP, IP and JP coded rackets) and Decathlon's UK stores sell all FR coded rackets.

It's to do with JT Sports being a Yonex Authorised dealer, Yonex UK won't allow them to sell other Coded rackets (same with yonex US and Canada), which would be classified as a "grey import".

The sunrise dealers you get in Asia are less strict in general, and there has been a number of threads on this other region codes issue.

I don't know what the deal is with Decathlon though....

Hi Danstevens, gsloh, thanks for the help, phoned JT sports and they said G3 is NOT available, only 4UG4. so Denmark serial most probably is 4UG4 only.

If you're looking for G3, they are available in Canada.

I think Decathlon may be a French (or France based) business. That might be why.

Maybe now you should look for a Canadian shop that will ship to the UK.

I live in Sweden and they carry Denmark coded rackets here.

They have armortec 900 in 3UG3 and 4UG4. Too bad they don't have 3UG5 :(

I have a at900p 3UG3 -- too big even when sanded a little (don't want to sand too much) :crying:

Probably would of made sense to purchase it else where to get the size you want instead of sanding it down correct?

for the first time ever the racket was cheaper in sweden (or at least it could compare with the other countries) than in other countries :D
and it often takes long time to get the rackets from oversea. Most DK coded rackets are G3.
