Yeah, the great LYD got his GOLD Medal in the Beijing at his age of 19 that proves his greatness.

2 for all this year is not unusual?? Thx for your efforts to extract the stats and you need to look up the word "unusual" in the dictionary. Conversely, that's proving that he has generally advanced to upper stages even as playing in two categories. WoW!

He's following his seniors, KDM and PJB.

    Enjoy~
Well, guess what... it's happened again.
Lee Yong Dae got bundled out of the Singapore Open.

He doesn't appear to be following Kim Dong Moon or Park Joo Bong.
Quite clearly, the only thing he is now following is the "Early Exit" sign

I wonder what fresh woes lie ahead at the Indonesia Open!

Nahh, not as popular as the Msia player threads - LCW, KKK/TBH. Nguyrn beat LCW already have 3 threads in the Tournaments section, LYD/JJS lose in round 1, no thread. You must do more to make it more popular.

Given that they will face their compatriot Han Sang Hoon/Cho Gun Woo in R32, I am pretty confident that they will not repeat the bitter disappointment of the whole KOR team this week in Singapore Jung/Lee should advance all the way to the title barring some incredible upset again

..considering the ratio of M'sian BCers and Korean BCers, narnia has done a pretty good job of making this thread "popular"...
On the other hand, i don't know why so many people are so worked up in all of those threads, including this one..

Yeah..agree with you...Narnia really has an excellent talent to make this thread popular...I think it's more because of Narnia's effort rather than the achievements of JJS/LYD that makes this thread so popular But I am enjoying this thread, it teaches us how to attack and counter attack

How I love the graphs and stats and head-to-head being posted after each victory (or each loss) by the DOMINATING KOR pair Badminton needs to be colourful and full of graphics to attract more ppl to watch and love

Owh, how can I miss this one?
Too much photo sessions, less time to train.
Meanwhile, all his opponents are training like crazy horses.
    No wonder then.

That partially answers why the dominating prowess has apparently worn off lately

The root problem lies in a single word, mister: dominance.

Haiseh, as if you dunno, they insult2 us, then the debate goes on and on..... including some clawing from me (must pratice mah, so can catch prey better) The BCer who thought this is attack & counter attack should read over there.

..hmm, and you're worked up over the use of the word "dominance"??..Personally, i'm not.
Btw, someone please confirm to me JJS & LYD weren't pretty much "dominant" in 2008?? Winning most of their SS tourneys and racking up arguably more MD titles & better results than any MD pairs. And narnia, did in fact started this thread at the end of 2008 for the sole reason or more of a reflection to their 2008 accomplishments.
"Dominance", from their 2008 results, i sure can't argue much abt that..

..hmm, debate went on and on in the other threads because you (and most of the other M'sian BCers) were clawing back mah..
Anyway, it's all quiet now and i don't think those 2 other threads will be as active without the ever popular Mr. Pemuda...
