tension weight? you can only get it from manufacture or string machine retail store. they are specific to brand and manufacture. try www.eagnas.com

if you are making your own stringing machine, you need to calculate the torque ratio, and from the tension range, you can then decide what' the required weight amount for this. with that information, you can have one made easily.

of course, how it's called doesn't matter.

    it is called weight-counter-measure ...

you can try this vendor (see at the end of page) :

    http://www.aefsports.com/en/products.asp?currType=108&BigclassCode=108

coz I just bought some parts from them directly as like MP-K10 and MP-L10 (for modification of my combo-912 to become hold-down machine).

Thanks for the update! So, AEF do small orders afterall. Please post photos of the parts and the completed setups.

Quite a few of us are stuck with 1st and 2nd generation portable badminton stringing machine. Hopefully, this manufacturer/exporter can offer an affordable upgrade path.

    yes, I only bought MP-K10 (4 pieces) and MP-L10 (2 pieces).

they sell all the parts partially, just that you have to make sure that your machine is suitable with AEF's parts, lucky my Eagnas Combo 912 is ok with that.

later I'll post it coz curently on holiday till earlier next year ...
