Hi everyone, I recently got an Arcsaber 10 from Rose Sports in Hong Kong. When i was inspecting it, the part on the cone where it says the 3U , G4 part was laser engraved onto the cone, but shouldn't it be on a sticker? Can someone please explain this for me? Would be much appreciated thanks!
Could be a new protocol with their racquets? I doubt it'd be fake to go through the trouble of engraving something and losing money like that. If everything else checks out (not fake) and the racquet plays well, I don't think you need to worry.
I'm sorry but i dont' have a camera :crying:. It's just like an engraved serial number but it's for the 3U,G4 part with the lbs, kg specifications.
Good info Smichz. So all new Yonex rackets made after august of 2008 will be engraved? Are there any pictures so show what it looks like?
Oh that's interesting, i was pretty scared that i had bought a fake. Yeap, it's a September made racquet. Thanks Smichz!
Unfortunately, i do not have a camera. It's just like an engraved serial number but in smaller font for the U & G and lbs/kg specs.
I can answer that for HawkEye. I assume you guys read my frenzy thread because I'm just using the same photo from there. This new method is applicable for rackets produced from July.
if it feels like an ARC-10 chanses are good it's a real one.. If it doesn't feel liek an arc 10, it is a good likelyhood its a fake... And If it is a fake Its a pretty safe bet that it will not be easy to find the seller and get a replacement very simple...who needs to look at engravings?? /Twobeer
