Maybe they're not even open yet? Does the leaflet say anything else? free play is always good :)

I called and it's a new club run by an ex-Lee's coach(Troy), 4 courts and accepting new members.

I'll go & try out these courts definitely. I hope it's floor won't be as hard on my knees as those of Flying Dragon's i.e. knee pain for a few days after playing there.

I called and it was Troy himself answered the phone:)
BTW, he won't play the 09 Toronto Open though.

Probably I will go on Monday afternoon (hopefully it will be less crowded then). You cannot book a court. All drop-in guests must share. Team training/group lessons have priorities over drop-in visitors.

    I went this afternoon.
    Overall it's a nice venue.

The floor is good. I have knee problems as well but
I don't feel uncomfortable today after 2 hours of non-stop play:)

Just the lights are a little glaring, maybe considering use a cover
or change to a different type of bulbs?

Glad to hear you had a good time!
To ensure comfortable play, a thin layer of commercial underpadding was chosen and placed in between the mats and the concrete.

As for the light issue you encountered, I will let Troy know and perhaps he can look into the matter.
    Thanks for the CC :)

If you visit in the evening, make sure to bring a sweater cause when your waiting the side to play, it's freezing. Great club btw, I went last night. The courts are really nice.

I remember that private with Troy is $45 for members and $50 for non-members. Student membership was about $450/yr. Don't quote me on this number though. I can't remember correctly. All I remember was that it was cheaper than mandarin but it wasn't exactly accessible for transit commuters. No initiation fee though. There were three coaches listed on the flyers. I can't remember their names though...

It's been a while since Suria had opened now. What's the atmosphere there like now?
