Looking for health advice from us online is:
    a) probably unwise,
    b) possibly dangerous,
    c) and always too late.;)

Without in any way attempting to diagnose, let me simply say that if something hurts just after you've played, it's never a bad bet to put something cool on it. Inflammation follows injury. The coolness might limit the swelling.

Beyond that, you really ought to seek advice from someone who can lay hands on you. Good luck:)

I have the same problem area you do. Went to Physio to cure it with IMS accupuncture (they end up curing my tennis elbow:D). I was prescribed wrist/forearm exercises to do them daily. They're basically pronation-subination turns, wrist curls and reverse wrist curls to strengthen the forearm muscles. Low sets high reps. Strengthen those muscles helped relieved the pain significantly.

Intra Muscular Stimulation. Basically stabbing with small gauge needle into troubled muscle group to stimulate recovery by increasing the blood flow in that area. It's not for the faint of heart. Google it, there's already some physiotherapists specialising in this practice. My physiotherapist treats elite athletes and IMS worked pretty well on them.

What's the proper way to warm up your wrist and at what point do you know it's ready for full exertion?
