Hello fellow badminton players, I have currently bought a new iso 65LT. I didnt want to spend a fortune on a racket because im only and intermediate player. The racket is a 3uG5 and since its in the isometric series, the advised tension is from 15-20lbs. Before buying thei racket i had a borrowed and Arc7 from a friend and the tension he had was a 22lbs. Using this racket i did some really great shots and beat some opponents. Now my racket has no string but im wondering if i should string higher than the maximum lbs or i should just stay at 20. What should i do? Thanks, Kooldudewu
i strung my Ti1 at 25 lbs, nth wrong.... on the cone says 15-20 lbs i think stinging till 22 wont matter......
Agreed, I'm sure the Iso-65 can take 22Lbs without too much trouble. Loads of people have probably strung it much higher than that.
With a reputable stringer, 22lb should be safe. However, if you (or your stringer) really concern about the warranty, it will be a small factor of risk. If somehow, you want to stay @ 20, an alternate way to improve the "feeling", is to use thinner strings, such as BG85, 66 or 80.
for me 20 lb is seems to be bouncy and uncontrollable. even though you use such BG 66 string... still bouncy.
i strung my iso 65light at 22lbs with a bg80......i ask the stringer n he say tat 23 is risky, but u still ned to ask the stringer to check the frame while stringing. All the best
