Sorry another thread but again I think this one is important If anyone knows where/when the games are being televised please post here In the UK Tommorow BBCi are televising full coverage of Wales v Singapore 3.30pm UK v Malaysia 7pm I managed to catch UK v Canada today and coverage is good If you have NTL this is channel 999 , don't know about satellite
The games are covered live on Malaysian cable TV ASTRO everyday. Is anyone taping? Especially tonight's showdown and the individual events that follow.... please?
Sigh... why doesn't Singapore a sports channel that shows badminton events?? Heard that even for Singapore Open they won't have any coverage...
There is no coverage at all at the moment. What id going on?? Not on 996-999 NTL or BBC1 and BBC2!!!!
This is a joke!!! They broadcast the entire match between Singapore and Wales, but what about this!!!!Isn't it suppose to be the match of the tournament??
I agree and what's worse is a)they said it would be televised b)they have a whole channel playing a highlight report that repeats every 5 minutes
I believe there will be no telecast. That is what I think. Gymnastics and cycling more important than Badminton in England. No wonder the sport can never improve in England, this is why.
I'm pretty unhappy. I've been looking forward to this all day. Amazing how they have such little respect for badminton fans as to tell us it is to be televised then to not televise it or tell us what is happening. It really is poor.
The guy who commentates on badminton is commentating on the gymnastics, so I think thats probably what's caused this
Agreed. This is indeed poor. I think KL98 was a much better commonwealth games. They delivered what they promised, all the time, everytime.
As far as I know, Malaysia is leading England 2-1 now. Go to this wwebsite, it updates after every match is won...I think. http://www.manchester2002.co.uk/res...X&content=BD_TM_X_rs_2&type=event&title=Phase^Status I think the format of play is like this: Mens singles -> Ladies Singles -> Mens Doubles -> Ladies Doubles -> Mix. If it is not like this, then I think Malaysia has got a chance because this means one of the ladies events or mix have created an upset. But I think my predited format is correct.
Medal rounds Looks like it's Singapore, New Zealand and possibly England & Australia through to the medal rounds. England/Malaysia are tied as is Australia/Scotland. India lost a close one to New Zealand by losing all their doubles.
