Im not sure if this is the right forum :S , i hope it is :O If I am going to buy another racket , i would want a change. I would be looking for a flexible head heavy racket for quite a reaonable price.light to medium weight. I don't mind the brands any brand will do to be honest. But if anyone has any good reviews it would be really helpful Sorry everyone i put this in the wrong forum :S
Armortec 150? that is all i can think of right now. Maybe the AT 700, it gets pretty flexible even though rated Extra Stiff.
Here's a couple (I wouldn't call them "recommendations" exactly): Black Knight Krypton XL "The Krypton XL has been built light and flexible, with an XL frame (68cm), but with the balance still toward the head, to generate a lot of head speed for less powerful players." www.blackknight.ca Who knows what that actually means - I couldn't find a balance point measurement anywhere, and "flexible" is equally vague. Not even sure where you'd get one - the UK website only sells 3 models of racket (including the Nanofire which I'm getting, yay me), and this isn't one of them. Wilson K-Strike Flex: Flexible | BP: 295mm | Weight: 84g There seem to be a few threads debating the durability/general quality of Wilson rackets, which is a bit of a worry considering they're about 65GBP. Never played with one so I can't comment.
Are you shure that a Krypton would be right for him? It is a hugely expensive racket, and I think its about the same price as a Arc10, And also Characteristics of the Vortex Krypton XL : Designed for: Advanced to International level Characteristics: The Krypton XL has been built light and flexible, with an XL frame, but with the balance still toward the head, to generate a lot of head speed for less powerful players. Although generally suited to singles, it is light enough to be excellent for very fast defensive play, but still hits hard for an attacking doubles player. So, I'll wait for kriss to comment, and I don't mean to bash your recommendation, but this is what I think. Personally I would recomend the Photon if he wanted a flexible and light racket, but hey, I'm probably wrong =.=
Really? I actually had no idea they cost that much - the rackets on the BK-UK website seem very reasonably priced, so I was kind of guessing it'd be cheap too. eg. Nanofire is 39.99 ($70CDN) You're absolutely right though - I'd never suggest spending that kind of money on any racket, and certainly not if it's just to try something different for "a change". I don't know much about the Photon - the Krypton was the only racket specifically described as "flexible", that's all.
