    No he hasnt retired.. he is skipping the Malaysia And Korea opens along with the rest of the china team..

    Now,it is a good question.Justine henin had quit in her peak.
    Thread starter's question is somehow debatable.
    I know lin dan was not here for some 'reasonable' reasons.Whether or not a super player like him will retire in his glorious days,is always an interesting discussion.

    To spend a lifetime training and getting to where he is he may as well make the most of it while he can. Perhaps his next goal could be ALL titles :D.

    Well, the biggest tournament left for LD is Asian Games.... if he retires, his achievements wont be completed.... just like TH, hasnt won All England:)

    it's not unhear of for sportsmen to retire early at the peak of their careers.
    bjorn borg retired from tennis at the tender age of 25.

    i hoped he'd stay coz he loved badminton,n thats all.
