I think what Cappy means is that since the Boron 2 is a rare and fragile racket, it would be heartstopping anytime you have a clash

Well in that case, I rarely got into a clash...and somehow we've been played together and managed to have a good understanding....in our game...

    Hey Hasrul,

Not to imply anything bad about your skills, but it only takes one major clash to destroy a racquet. Doubles increase the risks of that happening. When you break the Boron-2, it's hard to find another replacement. Also, the racquet is reputedly fragile comparing to other racquets. Anyway, it should be fine as long as you're aware of the racquet's value.

I will have to check that... mine is green/silver color...
    But what is VTS ?

My brother in law has two Rossignol not the smatsh.... I will check this sunday but they are particular as they haven't a cone like the others. All the racket (head, shaft, cone) are on one piece. It is very light and has isometric head and a titanium mesh insert on shat, the grip is the best i have tested ... It is a very very good racket... but as he found it on sale at a discounter ( 24€ each) I did not found any more. I will shoot pictures if i can...

VTS = Variable Triangular Sections, it is one of the legend design of Rossignol and won the many innovative prizes in early 90's. Bridgestone is still using this technology on the SV-Ti 5000 racket.

I bought a tennis racket in this design and the performace is quite good. I have seem a badminton racket from Rossignol using this technology, but it was bought by another person, so I have no chance to try it.

Look forward for the pictures from Mxmcat.

Hey cappy75, U were saying abt Boron-2's Value? What da ya mean? I got it for free (Sponsored Item under Teen Malaysian Badminton Project during my secondary school). Well I rarely used it now. I got it strung and new grip and a lot of time it is rested in the racket's bag. It is still in immaculate condition. I've been using my new weapons i.e. Gosen Aermet 5300 (0.65 RSL ti-String), Yonex MP30 (SP) and my faithful Carbonex 20. My boron-2 have been put rested for about 3-4 years now. Thinking of selling it but i dunt know whether it would sell well now?

U got any Idea Cappy? Well sorry abt that misunderstanding

I think a mint condition Boron-2 would cost around S$200 or more and there's not many lying around the market. You're one lucky guy.
