. Korea Open 2009: Day 6 (Finals) Sunday January 18 For Day 6 (Finals Day), in each of the 5 disciplines, we find that players/pairs seeded lower than 4 have all been eliminated. We should now expect all the 5 final matches to be interesting. Will Lee Chong Wei win his first SS tournament outside Malaysia since he became World No.1? One of Chong Wei's biggest fans at BC, Noridayu, would sure hope so. .
all the best to chong wei tomorrow! hope he eats more satay to become more aggresive and fitter in the cold windy korea PG might be dangerous to him too because PG does not need to play today after SS withdrawal..maybe he have extra energy anyway, i expect this match will be an exciting 1.. let the match begin!

When was the last time that INA did not have a finalist in an Open tournament? . Indeed, it is sad. :crying::crying::crying: I can't even remember when was the last time that INA did not have a finalist in an Open tournament. It must have been many, many years ago? Some BCers might be able to help answer this question. .
hai2..i'm budiman..just call me budi.. hehe..i'm new in this forum.. anw..when the match will be held tommorow??
Welcoming budibadibu to Badminton Central . Hi budi ... Welcome to Badminton Central !!! To find out when the matches will be held tomorrow: click here .
..it wasn't many2 yrs ago but also it wasn't a while ago either...It happened in last yr's Thailand Open (the last one got wiped out in the Semifinals round)..see thread below: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57393 Btw, will LCW perform a hat-trick against Peter Gade, in the Finals (and vice-versa)??..
the posible upset is...xd and ms...hmm...so glad tat thailand also performing well...hehe...... ms...sigh...hope lcw play with his 100%...pg is really dangerous...
anyhow...ina sure better than mas in term of no player in final...ina maybe just have 2 tournament without their player in final...but...mas have plenty of it...sigh...
INA rely on SDK, MK/HS & NW/LN (or maybe LN/VM). MAS just rely on LCW. WPT/CEH &KKK/TBH are still inconsistent. same like SDK..
Because for going to HK open 2008, Indonesia players fund themself.. But sad, they going home empty handed.
I think at their fitness level, playing or resting an extra day does not make a different. LCW wasn't really push to half his capacity in the semis. Either Peter polish up his strategy and beat Chong Wei or Chong Wei did his homework and neutralize his gameplan.
A little something out of topic. Limsy, I saw that you took many picture with the players during MO. I been to both 08 and 09 MO plus 07 WC but never saw any of those opportunity. How you do it?
