    Korea Open 2009: Day 6 (Finals) Sunday January 18

    For Day 6 (Finals Day), in each of the 5 disciplines, we find that players/pairs seeded lower than 4 have all been eliminated. We should now expect all the 5 final matches to be interesting.

    Will Lee Chong Wei win his first SS tournament outside Malaysia since he became World No.1?
    One of Chong Wei's biggest fans at BC, Noridayu, would sure hope so. [IMG]

    PG might be dangerous to him too because PG does not need to play today after SS withdrawal..maybe he have extra energy;)
    anyway, i expect this match will be an exciting 1..
    let the match begin!:p

    When was the last time that INA did not have a finalist in an Open tournament?

    .
    Indeed, it is sad. :crying::crying::crying:

    I can't even remember when was the last time that INA did not have a finalist in an Open tournament. It must have been many, many years ago? :confused: Some BCers might be able to help answer this question.

    INA rely on SDK, MK/HS & NW/LN (or maybe LN/VM).
    MAS just rely on LCW. WPT/CEH &KKK/TBH are still inconsistent. same like SDK..

    I think at their fitness level, playing or resting an extra day does not make a different. LCW wasn't really push to half his capacity in the semis. Either Peter polish up his strategy and beat Chong Wei or Chong Wei did his homework and neutralize his gameplan.

    A little something out of topic. Limsy, I saw that you took many picture with the players during MO. I been to both 08 and 09 MO plus 07 WC but never saw any of those opportunity. How you do it?
