WTS Stringing Machine (GTA)
Hey guys, with the new semester coming up, my schedule will be very tight, probably won't even have enough time for badminton let alone stringing. Therefore, I'm looking to sell my stringing machine.
The machine is a drop weight machine made by RSL. The tension system has a clutch so that tensioning the strings are done faster and more efficiently. It has one fixed swivel clamp with a six point mounting system. It can string badminton, tennis, racquet ball and squash rackets. It will come with the following:
Original Tools and Accessories
1x RSL badminton clamp
1x RSL tennis clamp
1x RSL oversize tennis clamp
1x Original set of tennis supports
1x Original set of badminton supports
1x Tool kit (1x badminton awl, 1x tennis awl, 1x non-slip cylinder, 1x string mover, 1x diagonal cutter, 1x pliers) in it's own storage case
1x Users Manual
1x set of assembly tools
2x Hi-Qua flying clamps ($45)
2x Yonex flying clamps ($75)
1x set of custom badminton supports (better than the original set) ($25)
1x Powerful scissors (very handy for cutting string ties) ($10)
1x Thin pliers ($2)
1x pair of load spreaders ($12)
1x Portable Electronic Scale (ensure tensions are correct) ($15)
4x Hi-Qua BG-65 string (great for practicing) ($10)
1x Ashaway Micro Power reel with about 160M left (good for 15-17 rackets) (about $50)
40x U-shape Grommets ($2)
1x tape measure ($1)
Prices in brackets are what I paid for the item. Almost $250 in free extras!
The machine is in great condition and has been used to string over 100 rackets before. Although drop weight machines may take longer, remember that drop weight machines provide constant pull while cranks don't.
I can also provide a quick tutorial on how to string if needed.
I'm looking to deal within the GTA only. Shipping would cost way too much and would ruin the great value. It is priced to sell. Please PM me if interested. Pictures will be available if asked for. Thanks for looking.
